Our

History

The story of La Mécanique Vélo begins with the meeting of two enthusiasts: Alexandre and Valentin.

Our original idea was simple: to offer a professional, affordable, and mobile repair and maintenance service, right where you are.

Even today, this flexibility and this close relationship are part of our identity and are one of our key strengths.

Since the summer of 2021, we have had the pleasure of operating out of our new location at 10 Route du Château d’Affry in Givisiez. This space allows us to welcome you on-site and carry out even the most complex repairs under the best possible conditions.

But this milestone also marks an important turning point: it has allowed us to fully expand our sales operations, with a dedicated space for new bikes, accessories, and a selection of products carefully chosen to meet the needs of every cyclist.

Our goal remains the same: to support you every step of the way—from choosing the right bike to maintenance, including adjustments, advice, and high-quality after-sales service.
